Living Area |
At THORPE HORSEBOXES we have designed our living areas in an aim to fulfill the needs of our customers whether it is that they require a small living area for function, a medium area with the usual fixtures and fittings for day and night use or a large living to allow for extra comfort for longer stays away.
The living area is added to by removing the rear of the driver's cab and by doing this we create a cab-access from the living area that is not only functional but also extends and opens up the living area. From this we fit the available space in the horsebox with a living area designed to make the most effective use of the space. Features consistent across our range include maple finished cabinetry made by hand at our works giving your horsebox the bespoke look it warrants, an upholstered seating area along with a store-away table and under seat storage and an auxillary battery system for leisure electrics. A privacy room with toilet and vanity unit along with a large refridgerator and hot water come standard on both the Eventer and Thoroughbred models.

The living area of any new horsebox should reflect the use it is expected to receive and we are aware of some other manufacturer's horseboxes which have over-specified living which not only takes up space which could be better used, but also increases purchase price. For this reason there are extras that can be fitted to the living area to customise it to your needs including shower, warm air heating, TV/DVD unit, 240v hook up etc. as well as items that can be removed to tailor it to you. This list is by no means exhaustive as our intention is to make the living area exactly as you require it.
